Frequently asked questions

Booking

How far in advance should I book?

Popular wedding and quinceañera dates usually get locked in 8–12 months out. Parties often book closer to the date. Reach out no matter how soon your event is. If the calendar's open, DJ-JP will make it work.

How do I check if my date is available?

Use the Check My Date button anywhere on the site, call (610) 568-5699, or email allmassiveevents@gmail.com with your date and event type. You'll hear back from DJ-JP personally.

What happens after I reach out?

You get a personal reply confirming availability and walking through your event: services, timeline and pricing. Pricing isn't posted on the site because it depends on what your event actually needs.

Do you require a deposit?

Deposit and payment terms are covered once you've talked through your event. You get the specifics directly, in the signed contract, with no surprises.

Pricing

How much does DJ-JP cost?

It depends on your date, hours, guest count and which services you add: lighting, photo booth, 360 booth, decor. Rather than post a generic number that won't fit your event, DJ-JP tells you once he knows the details.

Do you offer packages or bundles?

Yes. DJ, lighting, photo booths and decor (often through Butterfly Captures) can be bundled. What makes sense for your event gets worked out after you get in touch.

Services

What's included with a standard booking?

Professional sound, wireless mics, MC services and a music set built around your event and requests. Lighting, photo booths and decorating are add-ons, depending on what your event calls for.

What's the difference between the photo booth and the 360 booth?

The photo booth gives guests classic printed or digital photos. The 360 booth records a slow-motion spinning video, a bigger draw for guests and great for sharing. Add either one, or both.

Can I book decorating without DJ services, or the other way around?

Yes. Decor is often handled by DJ-JP's partner company, Butterfly Captures, and can be booked on its own. Ask when you reach out.

Do you MC in Spanish or other languages?

Yes. DJ-JP regularly MCs bilingually, especially for quinceañeras and family celebrations. Tell him what the room needs when you book.

Can cold sparks be used indoors?

Yes. Cold sparks are made for indoor and outdoor use, but they're always subject to your venue's approval and local fire regulations. Ask early so it can be cleared with the venue.

Event day

Do you travel outside Reading, PA?

Yes. Reading is home base, and most events are in Berks County, Lancaster, Lebanon and the Lehigh Valley. DJ-JP travels up to about 2 hours away. Send your venue's location and you'll get a straight answer on whether it works.

Are you insured?

Yes, fully insured for every event. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, DJ-JP can provide one ahead of time.

What do you need from the venue?

Standard power access and enough space for the setup. The specifics depend on which services you book, and they get confirmed with your venue ahead of time.

What if something breaks mid-event?

Backup equipment is on standby at every event, not just the ones that feel high-stakes.

Working with DJ-JP

Will DJ-JP actually be at my event, or someone else?

DJ-JP himself. This isn't an agency that subcontracts to different DJs. Whoever you talk to beforehand is who shows up.

Can I give a do-not-play list?

Always. Send your must-plays and do-not-plays ahead of time. Both get read and both get respected.

Can guests request songs on the day?

Yes, within reason. DJ-JP reads the room and works requests in where they fit, without derailing your timeline.

Do you text?

No. DJ-JP works with clients by phone call, email, Facebook Messenger and the contact form on this site.

Didn't see your question?

Ask directly. Pricing, availability, everything gets a real answer.
